To drive the development of our green hydrogen technology and accelerate its time-to-market, we are excited to announce the expansion of our technology team with the addition of three talented engineers. Their expertise will be instrumental in further developing the technology, improving our competitive position and enabling the growth of Caplyzer.
Meet Our New Team Members:
- Alejandro Romero: Stack Engineer
- Coming from a small town in Spain, Alejandro moved to Madrid and studied Chemical Engineering. To pursue his interest for working in a sustainability-related field, he relocated to Stockholm for his master’s in chemical engineering for Energy and Environment at KTH. Working with low-temperature electrolyzers during his master thesis sparked his interest to dive into the world of hydrogen generation and led him to Caplyzer. Alongside his education, Alejandro has carried out multiple internships with corporations, all within the field of sustainability.
- Outside of work, Alejandro enjoys yoga, bouldering, and being with friends. Apart from sustainability, he is passionate about animals (he misses his cat!) and humanitarian causes.
- At Caplyzer, Alejandro will be responsible for the stack development, supporting the scaling of the core technology.
- Tapish Sammanwar: Systems Engineer
- Coming from India, Tapish is a mechanical engineer with a passion for combining product development with business impact. Upon finishing his bachelor’s degree in India, he worked for over 3 years for Atlas Copco gaining experience in product development, systems design and project management. Wanting to further grow his business and management skills, he moved to Sweden to study master’s in Industrial Management at KTH.
- Outside of work, Tapish enjoys badminton, padel, table tennis, and squash, as well as running and cooking—especially sharing meals with friends.
- At Caplyzer, Tapish will be responsible for the systems design and development, ensuring that the stack integrates seamlessly with the balance of plant.
- Delphine Troast: Process Engineer
- Coming from New York, Delphine is a chemical engineer with passion for environmental sustainability and process design. Upon finishing her bachelor’s from The Copper Union, she spent 3 years working as a process engineer at LAM Research developing materials for semiconductors and process design. Her passion for sustainability brought her to Sweden and she is currently pursuing a master’s in Sustainable Technology at KTH. Her vast experience and interest in sustainable technologies led her to join Caplyzer.
- Outside of the lab, Delphine enjoys rock climbing, trail running and crocheting (perhaps a new hat for the team 😊)
- At Caplyzer, Delphine will be leading the process engineering and help design, implement and optimize the chemical processes ensuring continuous innovation of the core technology.
We are thrilled to welcome them to the Caplyzer team and look forward to their contributions in shaping the future of sustainable hydrogen production. Stay tuned for more updates as we push forward toward commercialization!
